A major gap in youth development was discovered with more attention and priority focused on sport development and no recourse to the percentage involved in youth empowerment and skills acquisition; hence the need for the agency that will empower and create an independent youth free from all forms of social vices towards a peaceful and development Kogi State.
Key Objectives
1. To help in creation of Jobs and Economic Development Opportunities to our teeming Youths; 2. To attract counterpart funding from Federal Government and International Donor Agencies; 3. Empower the Youths who shall stimulate economic growth, create more jobs and economic opportunities; be employers of labour, and pay tax to government thereby making significant contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the State; and 4. Reduce Youth restiveness and anti-social activities like armed robbery, kidnaping, stealing, prostitute etc.
Key Thematic Areas
All these will be driven through partnership with key government agencies, private companies in Kogi State, development partners and individual philanthropists.
